About SMART Way Forward
SMART Way Forward is a specialist sales, management and training consultancy with a team which works specifically within the sport, leisure, health and fitness industry.
The company was founded in 2011 by Managing Director Nadeem Shaikh, to bring his wealth of experience in sales, management and training together with his great passion and enthusiasm for sport.
A former track and road runner, Nadeem has represented his county, region and country, balancing top-level international competition with carving out a highly successful business career.
Since hanging up his competitive running shoes, Nadeem is now a fully qualified UKA Level 3 Performance Endurance Coach working with potential future Olympians as part of Team GB and is also an established coach on the National Coach Development Programme (NCDP) with England Athletics.
Nadeem and the team at SMART Way Forward are very well respected and established within the UK sports industry. Together they have built up a very impressive list of contacts over the years, including those working at senior management level within local authorities, national sports governing bodies (NGBs), county sports partnerships (CSPs), leisure operators, various sports clubs, universities, colleges and sports academies. They also have excellent working relationships with a variety of nationwide sports associations and government organisations.

Our experienced team of consultants at SMART Way Forward have delivered presentations and workshops in a variety of different sports and business environments. This includes workshop and seminar rooms, conference rooms, university and college class rooms, lecture theatres, sports halls, main halls, indoor and outdoor sports pitches, sports colleges, high performance centres, sports and leisure centres.
However, we understand that not all these locations can provide the necessary equipment required to deliver an effective seminar or workshop. Therefore, as long as you can provide the room, the seating, electric plug sockets, wifi or hard wire internet access, we are happy to provide and use our own equipment, such as projector screens, projectors, laptops, wireless microphones and audio speakers.
